Our Approach

We start each Preliminary Design meeting by emphasizing our desire to hear our clients’ feedback. This particular client, hailing from Toronto where modern design is abundant, stated “don’t worry, I’ll have plenty of thoughts for you.” At the end of the design presentation he admitted “I honestly didn’t think anyone in Jacksonville could produce a modern design; I stand corrected! There isn’t anything I would like to change.”

The existing Mediterranean style patio and pool were functional, but not the preferred style of the jet-setting homeowners. The two main priorities for the upgrade were privacy and a unique outdoor kitchen. By constructing a wall faced with beautiful wood-look tile we were able to not only provide seclusion from neighbors, but also create a warm backdrop for the cool colors of the fully loaded outdoor kitchen. The pool was resurfaced and given a new set of steps, and the patio was refinished with a special sealer to help prevent slips around the pool.
