Located in Atlantic Beach, the overall goal of this project was to reimagine an existing landscape and enhance the mid-century modern aesthetic of the home. The client requested more parking, enhanced entry experience, and better use of the terrace above the pool. To compliment the character of the home, the design team considered the use of floating concrete steps and board formed walls that offered texture and line through the proposed lush landscape. The use of terraced concrete pads and the augmentation of existing boulders and plantings helped to create a woodland garden in the back.
